i think this complextion and who is beautiful versus who is not beautiful of a thing has to do with your society and how you were brought us, yes i'm an African who leaves in Africa, though i wouldn't consider asdark because i'm in the middle. since i was a child my mum use to tell me how beautiful and georgeos i was she forbade me from using bleaching cream which is so common in my country and even forbade me from straightening my hair she said kiky shiny hair is the most beautiful…i had this notion inside me and wherever i go to even up till now i see myself as exotic i don't mind whatever anyone says
I'd like to share a funny story,sometimes ago i was chatting with my friends and then we started talking about colors i said i wish i was so black and so much darker than how i am, then they looked at me like I'm was a fool and and to proof to them i really meant it i travelled to an hotter country i told my parents i'm going there to teach English which i did, but one of my primary aims was to grow darker and tanner, i stayed in the sun for so long and instead of taking a cab while coming home from work i used to walk, but unfortunately my skin reacted and then i tarted peelng, i actually became lighter than i was before i know it sounds unbelievable, but it's the truth….
Well i guess my advice for dark, chocolate, black girls is that know where you are from you are meant to be the color you are and you are so beautiful and georgeos just that way and for black parents let your kids know the pride and heritage of being black because BLACK IS AND WILL ALWAYS BE BEAUTIFUL!!!
